Covid 19 Statement

As you will no doubt be aware the corona virus is continuing to spread. IAC is following the government’s guidance issued to social care organisations which can be accessed below.

Given the nature of our work and international reach we will be asking anyone we are due to meet with to confirm that they do not fall into a risk category, and if they do, that appropriate actions have been taken, including 14 days of self-isolation. We work with the world’s most vulnerable children and therefore it is essential that anyone working with IAC supports us in these actions to minimise risk. These steps may result in delays to applications, training, placements and other areas of practice, but we cannot, and will not, take undue risks that may adversely affect any child, family or member of the workforce. We thank you for your support and understanding.

If you feel unwell and have any of the corona virus related symptoms please do not go to your GP or come to IAC but call 111 for advice.
