Virgin Money London Marathon 2020

Have you applied for a place to run the London Marathon in the ballot and been unsuccessful? Do you know someone who is in this position? Do you know anyone else who would love to have the opportunity to take part?

IAC is seeking 8 volunteers to run the London Marathon on our behalf and raise funds to help support the world’s most disadvantaged children including those awaiting adoption in the UK.

In 2019, IAC launched the 'Gill Haworth Fund' in honour of our Founder and former CEO.  The money you raise will help to provide essential Adoption Support services for our children and families.  Currently there is a lack of government funding for such services so fundraising is essential to enable IAC to provide much needed support.

IAC has 8 places up for grabs for those who wish to run in the 2020 London Marathon and help in our efforts to break our fundraising record of £14,000.  A deposit of £149 will be required to confirm your place.  The target we ask runners to aim for is £1500, including Gift Aid.  Whilst that might seem daunting, our experience is that most of our runners achieve that, sometimes assisted by matched funding from their employers and through other innovative ways of achieving sponsorship.  The deposit can go towards your final fundraising amount if you are unable to reach the minimum £1500 target.

The 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon will take place on Sunday 26th April 2020 and is open to anyone over the age of 18.
