IAC services remain fully operational as the country eases out of lockdown. Our teams continue to work remotely so response times may be a little longer than normal. Children across the world continue to wait for adoption. The need now is greater than ever, so if you are thinking about adopting please get in touch.
IAC is a charity, not-for-profit and an accredited, legally registered adoption agency. We run outstanding services to support children and families affected by adoption. We have had three consecutive outstanding judgements from Ofsted, our regulator. Contact us and judge for yourselves.
We are looking for special parents to adopt some of the world's most vulnerable children who are waiting for families right now. You can be single, married, LGBTQ+, a parent or disabled or more. Others have done it. So can you. Hear what adopters have to say here https://youtu.be/RPOV4IOO_xY#YouCanAdopt
We work with almost every country in the world but you need to be eligible to apply under their laws as well as be approved by us in the UK. Most of our adopters are from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds adopting from countries they are connected to. Contact us to talk things through.
For our IAC adopters we offer a range of free virtual support services, from Coffee Mornings, Parenting Groups, Workshops, as well as theme based webinars. The offer is growing all the time, as is attendance. Contact us for more details and to register.
In response to the ongoing pandemic, and particularly the crisis in India, IAC has set up a Covid Kinship Bursary Fund. This fund will help families to fund the process when they need to adopt children orphaned by the pandemic. The situation for these children is dire and it is vital we support them to join families in the UK for their protection and long term welfare.
