Coram IAC's Advice Line is open to any members of the public who live in one of our partner Local Authorities. Find out here if your home Local Authority has a partnership with Coram IAC. If you live in a small district council it may be your county council area that has the partnership. If they do not you should approach their own Adoption Duty team. You can still contact the Advice Line at Coram IAC but other than giving you basic information we might not be able to assist you with a full service.
Our Advice Line is a confidential service run by qualified Social Workers with extensive experience of intercountry adoption. We can be in touch with you by phone or email. Anyone contacting us can raise questions, concerns and anxieties in confidence with our advisors.
The service is designed primarily for people living in the UK although it is also used by British nationals living overseas who are exploring intercountry adoption.
The service offers the opportunity to explore your own individual situation. Please note that we only offer an email or telephone service and not a drop in. We are also unable to give legal advice but can recommend experts in the field of adoption.
The Advice Line service is open Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 1.00pm. Due to remote working we will take a message and then call you back if you are contacting us by phone.
